Real Traveler Stories

Through the years, RaceQuest has grown both in the number of events offered and in the depth of each client's experience. Our journey of expansion even during a challenging economic environment has been fueled almost entirely by organic, word-of-mouth, person-to-person testimonials from the loyal clients we have been so privileged to serve at races and training camps around the world.

The personal stories below are unsolicited, unscripted and continue to strengthen our commitment to excellence and resolution to always be our best for you!

Challenge Roth

Special thanks to our clients for their comments, notes, and even video testimonials for one of our premier events, Challenge Roth and our small-group Best of Bohemia post-race tour. We can try our best to explain what it's like to travel and race one of the world's greatest sporting events, but our clients truly say it best.

You came through big time! I am already recommending Race Quest to other athletes that I interact with. You are amazing at what you do.

Wow. We were completely blown away! They spoiled us at the Villa near Venice and the hotel in Munich. It was wonderful. Thank you!

Ben and Traci in Costa Rica

Ben and Traci Holliday

It didn't take long for Ben and Traci to fall in love with Costa Rica. Having traveled with us back in 2013 for IRONMAN Lake Tahoe, the Hollidays joined us in Costa Rica for Ben's first international triathlon, IRONMAN Costa Rica 70.3.

"I had heard it said and it is true, Costa Rica is the happiest, most content country on earth. RaceQuest made this the best vacation we have ever had. I'm not just tooting their horn, they are the best at what they do," says Ben.

Ben and Traci are 13-time travelers with RaceQuest!

Shad McGaha getting swim tips from IRONMAN Arizona champion and RaceQuest Pro guide, Meredith Kessler.

Anne and Shad McGaha

"My husband, Shad McGaha, raced with RaceQuest at IRONMAN Arizona. I cannot say enough about this amazing company. This was Shad's 40th race and we had never used a service like this before. WOW WOW WOW!!! They took care of everything we needed and even things we didn't even know we needed.

The entire team was so warm and friendly to our entire family. They loved on my kiddos which means the world to Shad and I. RaceQuest covered every detail of our trip. They were ready with a smile every time we needed them. The race day support was incredible. They took me and my Dad out on the bike course and my husband felt that seeing us at mile 25 and 50 was what kept him in the race (brutal winds). They picked up Shad's transition bags and had them waiting for us the next morning at our hotel. I could go on and on. WE LOVE RACE QUEST!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!"

"The level of service at RaceQuest is off the charts. They work so hard to make sure everything is just right. For me some RaceQuest highlights were great shuttle service, the hospitality room, super fun and friendly people, the pro sessions with swim, bike, and run, oh and even their own badass photographer!"

"Of course it would cost a little less to just sign up for an ironman and go race it, but for a little more the experience is a LOT better!"

Chris “Big Sexy” McDonald training in Kona.

As a professional athlete, I know how difficult it can be to travel to races. So much time and energy goes into travel logistics. RaceQuest put together a great travel package for me, so that I can focus on my goals: to race hard and win.

David Hynan finishing at Challenge Galway.

The Hynan Family

Triathlete David Hynan hails from California and raced Challenge Galway with us in 2016. His parents, Richard and Lynda, opted for our spectator tour and joined us for a great time in Ireland. Lynda wrote to us shortly after returning to the U.S.

"I would like to thank the RaceQuest team for making our family’s trip to Challenge Galway special. You could not have been more helpful and made our visit to Ireland so much more personal and enjoyable. Your ability to meet the needs of our group from the energy of the athletes to the special needs of the elderly was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this travel service!"

Tricia Adams, all thumbs up on the bike.

Tricia DePrey Adams

"I thought I was going to Florida to simply participate in an Ironman and didn't expect much more. RaceQuest MORE than exceeded those expectations from the day I signed up through the moment we left after the race. They thoughtfully covered all of the major and minor details, including going above and beyond with fun surprises, necessary accommodations and supplies, and even some fun activities for my children. I highly recommend RaceQuest, and will most definitely be working with them again!"
